The Lamontagne
House is an interpretation centre devoted to
the residential architecture of Québec.
Located in the city of Rimouski, this classified
historical monument recounts the development
of housing in Québec from the
18th and 19th centuries through today. Displays
of building materials, artisan craftsmanship, construction
techniques and architectural styles, along with
a virtual exhibition entitled De Pierre, de
